Grant camera access
Cirqil needs camera permission to scan QR codes.
- iOS: Settings → Cirqil → Camera → On.
- Android: Settings → Apps → Cirqil → Permissions → Camera → Allow.
Lighting and distance
- Move to somewhere with better light. QR readers struggle in low light.
- Hold the phone 6–12 inches away from the code.
- Make sure the whole code is in the frame.
The other person’s code is a Cirqil profile QR
The scanner is specifically for Cirqil profile QR codes. It won’t work on generic QR codes (URLs, Wi-Fi codes, etc.).
