If someone you added isn’t in your Contacts list, run through this in order:
1. Check the Pending tab
Contact requests need to be accepted on both sides. If you sent a request that hasn’t been accepted yet, it’s in Contacts → Pending → Outgoing.
If someone sent you a request you haven’t accepted, it’s in Contacts → Pending → Incoming.
2. Check spam / different email
If you invited someone by email and they say they never got it, ask them to check spam. The invite comes from a Cirqil address.
If they’re already on Cirqil under a different email than the one you invited, they won’t see the invite in the app — you’d need to search for them by username instead.
3. Check filters
The Contacts screen has filters and sort options. If you have a profile-type filter applied, you might only be seeing a subset. Clear filters and pull-to-refresh.
4. Check blocked
If you blocked them (deliberately or by accident), they won’t show up. Enable Show blocked from the Contacts menu to check.
